The spacious diagnostic imaging department is fully equipped with high resolution ultrasonography system (as used by the NHS and Edinburgh Veterinary School). Unlike many practices diagnostic imaging has its own dedicated rooms and so multiple veterinary surgeons can be working at the clinic at one time reducing the waiting-around time for clients and horses.

The practice has 2 endoscopes for the examination of the upper respiratory tract and urogenital system and a 10ft gastroscope for internal investigations of horses.
